Is Tutoline free to use?
Every written course, lesson, and internship listing on this site is free to read. Certifications are awarded on completion of a course and its assessment — no separate fee to earn one.
Do I need any prior programming experience?
No. Every course on this site starts from the absolute basics and runs through to a professional level. If you have never written a line of code, start with the HTML & CSS course or the Python course — both are designed as genuine starting points.
Which course should I start with?
If you want to build for the web, start with HTML & CSS, then JavaScript. If you want a general-purpose first language, Python is the most beginner-friendly option on this site. If you already know one language, Data Structures & Algorithms is a strong next step regardless of which one.
How does lesson navigation work?
Every lesson has Back and Forward buttons at the bottom, plus a sidebar showing every lesson in that course — click any of them to jump directly there. A progress bar at the top of each lesson shows how far through the course you are.
Does the site remember which lessons I have completed?
Yes — your browser remembers which lessons you have opened using local storage (not a cookie, and never sent to our servers), so the course page can show a "Continue Where You Left Off" button. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do certifications work?
A certification is awarded after completing every lesson in its associated course and passing the closing assessment. It reflects completion of that specific course on this site — see the Terms of Use page for exactly what that does and doesn't represent.
Are the internship programs paid?
It varies by program — some offer a stipend plus a certificate, others are unpaid with a certificate and portfolio-ready work. Each internship listing states its stipend, duration, and mode (remote/hybrid) directly on its page.
What if I get stuck on a lesson?
Every lesson includes real, runnable code examples you can copy into your own editor and experiment with directly — that hands-on step is usually the fastest way to get unstuck. If you have a specific question, you can also reach out through the Contact page.
